Just made some sausage ‘pop-overs’ a cooked best butcher’s pork sausage, with tomato and onion slices on top of a square of pastry, or a bacon and cheese with tomato and onion yummy!!!!!

Cold utensils, cold hands, cold shortening and butter, after the first rolling, dot with butter and shortening, fold and roll out, keep doing this until all fats are used up. folding and rolling and dotting with fat….takes an age, but you’re rewarded with flaky golden layers of crisp light pastry that melt in the mouth
I don’t get to eat pies or pasties very often, i used to love them when i lived in the UK. Love the traditional cornish pasties and also cheese and onion. My mouth is watering, can you send me one over please?
Is this curry safe to eat?
Ok so I adore chicken tikka masala. I’m not sure if this exists in the US/Aus (which I assume most of you are at this time) but basically it’s just a mildly spicy indian style sauce with chicken breast and rice.
My mother buys these every weekend and we usually eat it on Saturdays except I was out last night and didn’t get the chance to. I checked the use by date on it and it says 13th Dec which is today. Obviously I can’t eat curry at midnight so it might be my lunch tomorrow (14th….) if I won’t be lurching in pain and spewing my guts out and hour later.
Anyone know if it would be safe to eat? It’s pre-cooked too…
It is fine. and don’t listen to anybody that it is bad. as long as it has been kept cool then it should good for 4 or 5 days after. and why can’t you eat curry at midnight. if i had a 24hr Indian take place i would eat it a lot. There at least 4 Indian all you can eat buffets in my town great eats.
