Looking for the REAL Santa Fe Spinach Dip Recipe?
I’ve looked everywhere & I can’t find any that come close… THANK YOU!
And PLEASE DO NOT give me the recipe below because I’ve tried it & it tastes NOTHING like Cheddar’s
Spinach Dip.
1 medium onion chopped (small)
2 cans spinach (drained)
1 small can plum tomatoes chopped (small)
1 (4 oz.) can green chiles chopped and drained
1(8 oz.) cream cheese (room temp)
1 C. half/half
10 oz grated Monterrey jack
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Ok I work in the Cheddars kitchen and I make the spinach dip all the time. This is waaaay off. It has frozen chopped spinach, a creamy mixture of melted cream cheese, ALFREDO, white american cheese and 1/2 and 1/2 with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and “salsa seasoning” you cook the spinach then add it to the cheesy mixture, put it in the fridge for 2 hours to thicken, then melt about half a bag of shredded MOZERELLA on top. Once the mozerella is melted you stir it in and put a dollop of sour cream on top! Guest: Anonymous 20 thumbs up votes from other posters
