how long to cook my chicken that has been marinated for the last few hours?

I am making an indian recipe, chicken tikka masala. right now the raw chicken is cut into pieces and marinated in a fairly thick gravy in the fridge and I am about to cook it. How long should I cook it for? I don’t have a thermometer to check temps, and it’s difficult to determine when it is no longer pink because of all the gravy that darkens it.

also, should i try to flip the individual pieces (which could again be hard because the gravy makes it hard to see which side is cooked/uncooked) or just sort of stir the pot every few minutes?

chicken is done when the juices run clear… .. to check always cut into the largest piece.. if is done all of them will be.. if needs, be remove the largest piece from the pan, after your cooking time is done and put it under a bright light to help you see if the juice is clear…to remember which one you have turned, go around the clock .. start at the top and flip them all till you get back to the “12″..
