How do you make caramel corn puffs? ?
The recipe on line is the one you bake. I was told there is one you microwave and then place in a brown bag?
Caramel Puffs
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
7.5 oz bag of Corn Puffs
Bring brown sugar, margarine, and corn syrup to a boil over medium heat on stove top. Boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir well.
Lightly spray a large roaster type pan with cooking oil. Pour bag of Corn Puffs into pan. Pour carmel mixture over Corn Puffs and stir well until coated.
Spray inside of a large brown grocery bag with cooking oil.
Pour Corn Puffs into the bag. Fold over end, shake well.
Microwave on high for 1 minute and shake again. Microwave for 1 minute and shake bag. Microwave for 45 seconds, shake bag and pour back into large pan.
Let cool, stirring often.
