How do I shred chicken breasts?
I have a package of trimmed chicken breasts and I found a recipe for mexican soup so I’d like to shred the chicken for it.
Is there any certain way to cook it to make shredding easier? Do I just put it apart with my fingers?

pot of boiling water , put one of those chicken boullion packets in there until it taste a bit salty , this is how you get good flavor put the chicken in pot lower heat and cookk until breast are firm , let them cool offf and slowly pull the meat apart , i hope your patient cause its tim consuming i would rather dice the chicken very small and present it like that good luck

How can I make this less fattening?
I LOVE Outback Steakhouse and I wanted to make their Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas at home so I went to Recipezaar to get the recipe and WOW. WOOOOOOOOOOW. 1229 calories PER SERVING?
I’m taking out ALL the bacon and using low fat cheese. But I don’t know if that’s enough. What else can I do to make this recipe less fattening but still DELICIOUS?
Ingredients
1 cup Dijon mustard
1 cup honey
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
12 slices bacon, pre-cooked
3 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

You could try leaving out or halving the oil in the marinade. Or make one half batch with the oil, and leaving the oil when you pour the mixture on the chicken. Also, use as little of the honey as you can, maybe try mixing it will water to dilute it, because honey has 3 more calories per gram than sugar.
I know people like cooking mushrooms in butter, but you could just use the same oil that you used for the chicken?
Also, I’d switch to olive oil instead of canola and vegetable.
You can buy fat free or lite tortillas at the store, and they taste pretty much the same.
Everything else is pretty low cal, you should be right.
