how to decrease humity in my homemade incubator?
Ok i recentley made a incubator for my chicken eggs in the future, but my humity is at 66% going up? how do i decress it? thanks from regards of Tyler!
Humity needs to be Frist 18 days 60% 99-100 F, last 3 days 80% humity. How do I make it bigger and smaller? not as much water?
You need to put not as much water in your incubator, maybe half the amount or 3/4 the amount.
Be careful, too much humidity can lead to death or deformations to the chicks. It depends on what day/stage you are in this your chicks.
Good luck! ♥~Aspen~♥
Does a chicken egg incubator need a cover?
I made a homemade chicken incubator for the chicken eggs I recently got. I also got an incubator that holds 3 eggs. The incubator that I bought seems to keep the heat in better than the homemade one but both thermometers read 100 F. When I take the eggs out to turn it, the ones in the store bought incubator seems a lot warmer than the homemade incubator. Could this be because I have no cover for the homemade incubator?
Thanks
Make sure the thermometer is always at the TOP of the eggs just so you know. And you will need a cover because the air is not circulating around the egg. The warm air is being pushed out because of the opening and not totally warming the egg.
