Easy Homemade Bbq Sauce Recipe

I need an easy to make and tasty homemade BBQ sauce recipe.

I would just buy a bottle, but thats boring. I’d rather over-complicate things and make my own.

Honey BBQ Sauce

150 or ¾ cup honey
100ml or ½ cup ketchup
50 ml or 2 floz sunflower oil
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
2 tablespoons brown muscovado sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 crushed garlic clove
Pinch of dry chilli flakes

Cola BBQ Sauce
1 cup cola
210ml or 1 cup ketchup
50ml or 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon wine or cider vinegar
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Kansas-Style BBQ Sauce
2 cups ketchup
2 cups tomato sauce
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
4 teaspoons hickory-flavored liquid smoke
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
