Chicken Rice Cheese Casserole

Im cooking an easy first time casserole..tell me what you think..?

Ok so I want to make a casserole with rice, cheese, chicken, and brocolli..heres my plan.

Bascially Im going to buy a rotiserie and pick the chicken off. Im going to pre cook the rice and brocolli.

Then in a casserole dish Im going to combine the cooked chicken, rice, and brocolli with a 10 3/4 oz can of Cream of chicken soup and a half a cup of cheddar cheese. I will bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes…covered or not covered? what do you think about this…



Since everything is already pre-cooked, 30 min uncovered should be enough – just so the cheese & sauce are bubbling. And make sure you undercook the broccoli, so it doesn’t overcook in the oven and turn a nasty olive green color (and taste too strong). If it’s frozen broccoli, just thaw it out and don’t cook it first at all…..
