Chicken Pasta Salad Mayonnaise
How best to create a mayonnaise based pasta salad?

I’m trying to create a pasta salad like the ones sold at asda and M&S that contain basically marinaded chicken with pasta, chopped salad tomatoes, basil and a mayonnaise sauce.

My question is how do I recreate it so the pasta doesn’t absorb all the moisture from the sauce? If anyone knows where I can get a recipie it would help!



elementary my dear watson. olive oil. coat the noodles in olive oil ( virgin, extra, seasoned, whatever) before adding your mayonaise sauce. that’ll keep it from soaking up the moisture and getting that soggy chalky texture when you eat it.

when you have your noodles ready, just coat and mix. if you use your hands instead of a spoon, it won’t break up the noodles as bad

Are these good and healthy food ideas? Also for weight loss?

1. Half a Club Sandwich with NO mayonnaise, with side salad topped with Honey Mustard Dressing

2. Grilled Chicken Breast Over Seasoned Rice with mushrooms

3. Grilled Shrimp over rice or pasta



Not too bad, really, but it’s a lot of meat. Meat has lots of protein, but also lots of saturated fat and cholesterol and is completely fiberless.

In place of meat a few meals a week, do your digestive tract a favor and eat some beans, nuts, seeds or soy products. They have protein, too, but are free of saturated fat and cholesterol and are full of fiber (especially beans).
