chicken pasta dish?
how do imake a simple pasta with chicken and mushrooms and bacon, nothing to comlicated, not sure about the chickeny sauce. Had it when i went to a friends for dinner and it was lovely but didn’t want to look silly so i didn’t ask her how she made it.
thanks everyone, sounds quite straight forward really, will do pratice run and if me and my dog like it, then i know i’m doing it right!

350g pasta bows (farfalle)
300g broccoli , cut into small florets
1 tbsp olive oil
3 large skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks
2 garlic cloves , crushed
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
juice of 1 large or 2 small oranges
25g flaked almonds , toasted
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water according to the packet instructions. Three minutes before the pasta is cooked, throw the broccoli into the pasta water and continue to boil.
While the pasta is cooking, gently heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Tip in the chicken and fry, stirring occasionally, until the chicken pieces are cooked and golden, about 8-10 minutes, adding the garlic for the last 2 minutes.
Mix the mustard with the orange juice in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the chicken, and gently simmer for a minute or two. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving 3 tablespoons of the pasta water. Toss the pasta and broccoli with the chicken, stir in the pasta water and the almonds, season well and serve.

I’m looking for an easy(ish) pasta dish. I want chicken and spinach in a creamy white sauce. Any recipes?

Hope this works for you….. ALTHOUGH I USED FETTICIUNE NOODLES.. MY KIDS LOVE TO WIND AND TWIST UP NOODLES.
INGREDIENTS:
6 ounces dry pasta shells
20 ounces fresh spinach
1 pound boneless chicken breast halves, grilled, cut in 1-inch cubes
4 medium cloves garlic, minced
1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
salt and pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
I ALSO INSTEAD OF GRILLING, SAUTE’D THE CHICKEN PIECES IN ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING
PREPARATION:
Cook the spinach in the broth until tender. Drain and reserve broth. Drain and press to squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Preheat a heavy skillet over medium heat; add the oil and sauté the garlic, stirring constantly, until tender but not browned. Add the spinach and nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Add the grilled chicken chunks to the spinach; stir and add a small amount of the reserved cooking broth. Continue to stir, turning, until hot, adding broth as necessary. Add the hot drained pasta shells into the spinach mixture and blend well. Serve immediately with Parmesan cheese.
Serves 4.
