Healthy Chicken Recipes For Weight Loss
got any weight loss tips?

currently i am around 195ish, im 5’5 and 23 yrs old. i honestly need to get in better shape and jut healthier because my blood pressure is kinda high and the doc it a tad bit worried.

i have already lost 25lbs in 2 and half months, i have an event up in aug (12 weeks away) and i would love to loose 30 to 40 lbs by then. and two weddings this year that im in.

my goal weight is around 145 to 150s, my ultimate goal is to be in a size 10 pants, i have never been in anything under size 12.

i have been eating a lot better and exercise about 15 to 20 mins a day with either a walk or my workout dvd.

but if anyone has any tips or websites for good recipes for weight loss. i love chicken and turkey, cant really do the taste of fish besides tuna, and after a while tuna gets old.

any snack ideas also please,

First of all congrats on the initial weight loss success! That is a great accomplishment. As a registered dietitian, I get very excited by healthy lifestyle changes.

Here are are few of my favorite foods and eating well tips!

Focus on eating 4-6 small meals/day and try to include fiber and protein as part of each meal and snack.

Typical day:

Breakfast Smoothie (Basic recipe)
-Yoplait Greek Plain (17 grams protein per 6 oz. and is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D)
-Frozen fruit (I like blueberries, mango, cranberries)
-small amount fruit juice
-ground flax seed (fiber and omega-3′s)

Then I will have either a hardboiled egg or handful walnuts to round out the meal

Snacks (I have about 2/day) here are some choices:
1. Cottage cheese and whole grain crackers (very filling)
2. Hummus and celery/jicama sticks
3. Brown rice, veggies, tofu chopped up sprinkle with soy sauce or miso
4. Hard boiled egg and apple
5. Apple slices dipped in small amount of peanut butter
6. Larabars (many yummy flavors)
7. Trail mix made with: whole grain cereal, nuts, dried fruit
8. Yoplait Light yogurt (33 flavors!!)

Dinner and lunch are typically salads with lean meat grilled. I also enjoy making soups, which can be nutritious and filling.

Slow Cooker Recipes?

I’m looking for super healthy weight loss slow cooker recipes, does anyone know any?

Can you cook beef in a slow cooker and does it need pre cooked as i would like to try beef but don’t have time to pre cook or prepare things.

Just now i have been bunging chicken or pork in straight out of the packet, a cup of water and a packet of sauce mix, and been happy but now i’m looking for more recipes.

Please keep them simple

OMG no dont precook it, if its slightly frozen thats best.
your roast frozen is best for all day cooking
season as usual, cut up veggies if you want to go in with it add 1 can beef broth and turn on cooker for 6-8 hrs and let go and do your thing, the beef will cook wonderfully in its juices and when your ready to eat fall apart when you try to remove it from the slow cookre. I love that and its so juicy and yummy and very comforting. I also found a link with tons of them for you to try, have fun with it. And remember when you find one you love write it down.
