Baked Chicken Alfredo Casserole
Baked Chicken Alfredo Casserole
Help me cook dinner, chicken in a casserole dish?
Ok what I want to do is to put pasta and alfredo sauce and stuff in a casserole dish and lay the chicken breasts on top and bake it all in one dish. I cannot find a recipe like this. I need help. I need to know first will I need to add water to the sauce and pasta? How long do I cook it? What if the chicken breasts are frozen? What temp should I put the oven on? Do you know a recipe similar to this where I can put the chicken on top of other stuff whole and cook it in one dish? Please help!
As a Chef you plan doesn’t sound good. If you try to use the liquid from the Alfredo sauce to cook the pasta it will turn ugly, I would cook the pasta separately in salted water- be careful not to put too much salt, drain it and set it aside. Then I would sear your breast with a little oil, garlic and Italian seasoning- dont cook all the way just get the breasts seared and browned- set aside. If you are buying your sauce made that is fine or you can make if from a package with milk or from scratch. At this point line your casserole dish with foil or spray with non stick spray so you don’t spend 4 hours cleaning it after, also spray the foil if you do foil, toss your cooked pasta into the casserole with the sauce, add some cheese if you like maybe even a little bread crumbs for texture, make sure sauce is seasoned well, once all mixed top with chicken and bake for 25-30 minutes at 375 degrees- if you wanted cheese you should sprinkle a little more cheese on top of breast for the last 10 minutes in the oven, make sure you let it rest and cool a little before serving- it will be extremely hot.should be good
