Baby Bolognese Recipe

My 6 month old baby is weaning – can I feed her what I make for my elder daughter and I? Help! Recipes?

Hi!
My house consists of just me and my 4 year old daughter, and my 6 month old baby. The baby jars are so expensive and cooking for just me and my eldest, we seem to waste so much food. What kind of meals can I stick in the blender and freeze for the baby too?
For example, if I make pork chops with mash potatoe and veg, can I just stick a bit of this in the blender and blend it up? I know not to add salt or anything.
What about spaghetti bolognese? The jars of it, Im sure they contain salt though? Help :(

You can use all of your homemade food with no salt.
Some people don’t recommend egg or fish before 8 or 9 months (due to allergies).
I wouldn’t use preprepared jars though if they contain salt.
I used to blend all our roast dinners (but with no salted gravy or stock), and things like shepherds pie (we added salt to our own portions on the plate).
In fact, I eat much less salt than I used to because of this, so it’s probably been healthier for the whole family.
If you blend a normal mixed dinner you’ll need to add a bit of milk, water or apple juice to it as it will be a bit dry and claggy.
Other good meals are mashed sweet potatoes with broccoli or spinach (makes these sometimes bitter green vegs go down more easily), and any stewed pureed fruit like apricot, apple, pears – if it’s not sweet enough, mash a banana into it.
Avocado and mashed banana was always popular too.
